American summer school programs differ from UK and other European options in that after-class activities include much more excursions. USA summer camp programs held in America's most popular cities with many places to see, such as Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Orlando, are very fun for students.
Our summer school programs consist of training and activities divided according to the age groups and levels of the students. All organizations are held on university campuses. In programs that generally include 15-20 language lessons per week, the day starts with breakfast and then a lesson.
During the course, which lasts until lunch time, students are given practical, interactive language education in classes appropriate to their age and level. In these groups, where students from many different countries are integrated, students realize that they can communicate using a foreign language and become more motivated to learn English. This is one of the main educational purposes of the summer school program.
Extracurricular activities of American Summer School programs generally consist of trips. Because there are many more places to see and attractions in America compared to England and other EU countries. Students have the chance to see Universal Studios, DisneyLand, Hollywood, Manhattan, Washington DC, Boston and many other popular places and have a lot of fun during after-class excursions. All of these activities are carried out safely at the school and under the control of group leaders.
All of our US summer school options are organized on university campuses. Students carry out all their activities, such as education, accommodation, sports, etc., in a safe campus environment. In our American summer schools, students are offered full board dormitory accommodation at different standards. Dormitory entrances and all activities within the program are controlled by activity managers and the safety of students is ensured.
F-1 Student Visa
In order to study in the USA, it is necessary to obtain an F-1 Student Visa. Students who want to obtain a visa must make an appointment in advance and meet with the visa officers at the relevant American consulates with the necessary documents. In order to make an appointment at the US consulates within the scope of the F-1 Student Visa, you must first have sent your I-20 document from the language school you applied to. Visa procedures can be carried out as transparently as possible with SEVIS, the student tracking program established by the US government years ago. You can also see your information in the SEVIS system on the I-20 document sent to you by the language school you applied to. You can make your visa appointment after your I-20 document arrives. Depending on factors such as the duration of education you will receive and your economic situation, your visa period may be between 3 months and 5 years.
B1/B2 Tourist Visa
A B1/B2 Tourist Visa may be sufficient for some short-term and part-time English language schools in the USA. However, those with this visa are generally not given education or work permits. The consular fee fee for the F1 student visa and the B1/B2 Tourist Visa is the same.
If you requested airport pick-up during your school registration process, we organize your airport transfer through the school you will attend. Officials from the school will pick you up from the airport and take you to your accommodation.
